Overview
This Refund Policy applies to all tuition and fees paid to Zion Christian Academy for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
Non-Refundable Registration Fee
Of the $1,500 annual tuition, $150 is a non-refundable registration fee. This fee covers administrative setup, documents, and record-keeping and is retained by the school under all circumstances.
Refund Schedule
Before July 1 of the school year
Full refund of tuition paid, minus the $150 non-refundable registration fee. Refund requests must be made in writing (email to Brady Renfroe).
July 1 through the first day of school (August 10, 2026)
Prorated refund based on the number of weeks remaining until the first day of school, minus the $150 non-refundable registration fee.
After the first day of school
Tuition becomes non-refundable once instruction has begun, except in cases described below (Involuntary Dismissal).
Payment Plan Withdrawals
Families on the end-of-year payment plan remain responsible for tuition prorated based on the number of full months attended, up to the first day of the month of withdrawal.
Multi-Year Re-Enrollment
If a family locks in a multi-year re-enrollment tier (2–5 years) and withdraws before completing those years, tuition paid for future unattended years is refundable in full within 60 days of the written withdrawal request, minus a $50 administrative fee per unused year.
Involuntary Dismissal
If the school dismisses a student for cause (see the Enrollment Policy), tuition is refunded prorated by full month, minus the $150 non-refundable fee. If the school dismisses a student without cause (e.g., school closure), a full prorated refund is issued.
Instant Records & Transcripts
Fees for Diplomas, Report Cards, Verification Letters, and Transcripts are non-refundable once the document has been issued and delivered. Requests cancelled before delivery are fully refundable.
How to Request a Refund
Send a written request to zca.k.12.26@outlook.com or call (205) 200-6257. Include the enrollment ID, student name, and reason. Refunds are processed by check within 30 business days of an approved request.
Effective Date
This policy is effective for all enrollments beginning January 1, 2026. Zion Christian Academy reserves the right to amend this policy with written notice to enrolled families.
